HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!
Hjem Kjære Hjem!
Last time I wrote on this I was in Copenhagen, Denmark. Let me give you all a brief description over this country. It is one of the more radical European countries, where most things are accepted. Kids are free to do whatever they want after they are confirmed. It’s not unusual to see youngsters living on their own, as their parents let them. So getting drunk, high and having pre-marital is quite common amongst young adults. They even have their own little Amsterdam in the middle of Copenhagen. It’s like a little park where everything that happens in there stays in there. They are allowed to buy dope and smoke up as much as they want, as long as they don’t bring it with them outside. Guess what this place is called? Christiania! OMY!
I guess knowing all of this makes me a little concerned about the youth there. But it didn’t bother me during that weekend. It’s such a great feeling to see these youngsters thirst for Him.
Youth in Copenhagen, Denmark. I fit right in ey???? Hahahahaha!

So this is every Norwegian’s dream! KFC baby, as there are no KFC in Oslo. We went to eat there and all I see are Filipinos eating. Crazy! You would think that it would be open for the public!? hahaha.... really weird, walking into that KFC restaurant felt like Pinas. ALL tagalog speaking ppl. The only ones who did not were the danish ppl who worked there, but I bet they already know how. Hahaha

That weekend went fast, but the trip going and leaving from there was not as good. It’s an 8 hour night bus ride, where you can not sleep at all. On the way back after an hour or so we reached the Swedish border. Customs pulls us over. And I see a hard grand-ma wearing a uniform that transforms her into something else. You can’t really see a smile there. It was ok in the beginning, felt like a routine check, but then they ask us to get off the bus and line up outside. They checked our bags and every inch of the bus then stacked us up in this tiny room. Felt like forever. Took two hours! People were so annoyed, so was I. But I couldn’t stop laughing over the grandma. Yo! you aint no cop! I really wanted to take a picture of her, but I guess I would hold the bus even more, and people started to get impatient.

Well I got home, just to hang out and pack for U. K! When it seemed as if it was going to be all cold as last time, it was HOT in London. Praise God, but I did bring the wrong clothes. Mayn! It was great to be back there. An empowerment weekend was dedicated for the leaders there. It was a great experience as it was draining and very challenging. Watch out for YFC UK! It will expand to ten new areas! WOW!!!! May God Bless you on your journey! AWESOME!

This weekend even got me the chance to reunite with some Nordic flava! Tania, who is studying in U.K and Katherine, who was on vacation both from YFC Stockholm, Sweden.

Here’s the service team during that weekend.
TEAM DISFUNCTIONAL! Got to love them! Yo Sherwyn that's how you do your hair! Hahahaha! Picadilly ROCKS!

Madame Tussaud! They say that Hitler's hair has to be cut every year, as it keeps on growing! Scary ey! WEIRD!

Lent is over. Weird! Went fast! I’m allowed to eat sweets again! What a feast! Sugar rush, chocolates, desserts, ice cream, cookies, sugar in coffee and tea, soda, ice tea all the goodies HERE I COME, but it does not taste as good as it used to…. Mayn!
Brothers on mission for the weekend!
Reinart in Denmark, Andros and Ron in Iceland. Let's pray for them! Next FTW for Europe??? Hehehehehe? Let's see??

Now I’m home! Home sweet home! Nothing is like home. Still a little cold, but the fresh Norwegian air and the nice weather beats everything. Have about a month I guess until it’s time to go somewhere again. I miss being away, but I love being home!
Norwegian words of the day:
“God Påske” – “Happy Easter”
and
“hjem kjære hjem” – “home sweet home”
